Food was on point! Atmosphere was great. Service was pretty good, could have been better for sure. 4 or 5 of us had no drink for a good 10 mins before we stopped a different server for fill ups. But besides that, our server was definitely friendly and knowledgeable. I enjoy Blues Landing immensely.
Basically it's the only big restaurant close to the river that plays a band on the weekends. Stick to appetizers and beer. Way overrated.
The bartender didn't understand the concept of mixed drinks.
This was our first time here & we were impressed. The menu had lots to choose from. The service was great. We ordered the fried mushrooms for our app then had the shrimp n grits & the Shirley Mac as our main course. All 3 of those items were excellent! We each got a take home box because the portions were so large. Also, the live music was great the night we were there. We had a much better experience here than we had at the place next door the following evening....
Superb crab with a down home flavor. Love the atmosphere. Food is even better. Seafood equal to Landry's or better. Staff helpful and friendly. Local brown ale on tap always a plus.

$60 for two entrees and one adult beverage apiece. The food wasn't good. The portions weren't generous. The gumbo had so much andouille sausage to the point you couldn't taste anything but heat.
